The spacious room overlooking the courtyard exceeded expectations with its comfort and amenities. Staff members were friendly and accommodating, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. Although the bar was quiet during the stay, the overall experience was marred by noise from the floorboards above, making sleep difficult at times.

The East Ayton Lodge has a cozy feel with charming grounds. My room in the Court Yard was surprisingly spacious and had beautiful garden views. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast offered a superb selection, and staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Enjoyed the personal touch when they ensured we had everything needed. The atmosphere in the bar was welcoming, which made for a pleasant gathering spot. The parking lot could fill up quickly, leaving limited options, and I noticed the WiFi struggled at times, especially on my iPad. The bathroom amenities felt a bit outdated, and lighting in some areas could have been better. Despite those issues, I would definitely return for the positive experience overall.
